Student Career Development Centre (SCDC), TAR UMT is the central hub for personal and career development. We offer career advisory services and act as a vital link between students and industries. Through various programs, workshops, and collaborations, we empower students to explore career opportunities, build essential skills, and prepare for the transition from campus to career life.

SCDC connects students and graduates to a wide network of employers, industry partners, and career opportunities. Through initiatives such as career fairs, in-house career portal, company engagements, and recruitment drives, SCDC creates meaningful platforms for students to explore potential career paths and for employers to discover future talent from TAR UMT.

SCDC believes in empowering students not only through guidance and training, but also through meaningful hands-on experiences. Selected students from the Career Guidance Society, play an active role in supporting SCDC initiatives — from liaising with companies and event coordination to engaging with peers. Through these experiences, students develop essential skills which SCDC assess and prepare them to become proactive, career-ready graduates who can thrive in both professional and community settings.
