What does the Student Career Development Centre do?
Student Career Development Centre (SCDC) TAR UMT is a hub for personal and career development.
We provide career advisory services for our students and also serve as the bridge between students and industries. We assist students with their careers and development. We handle things related to career or student's general development, internally and externally.
What can companies do to reach out to students?
Companies could get in touch with students through our Career/Internship Fairs. Career fairs would be the main platform as students and companies would have the opportunity to secure a placement and increase engagement altogether. Other means would be to post on our Facebook page and our internal portal. Do note that these are subjected to approval and is on students' voluntary basis.
Who are we?
We at SCDC are Career Advisory Specialists that comprises of professional staff with NCDA Certified Career Service Provider CCSP (we are the first in Malaysia), Leonard Personality Inventory (LPI), LPI Career Tools and also other assessment tools such as RIASEC.
